What "Liborio" Means to Cubans.

Just as "Uncle Sam" stands for the American people, Liborio is the character who symbolizes the people of Cuba. This Character of a pronounced nose, long whiskers and peasant garb expressed for several decades to think and say and feel the suffering of the Cuban people.

Represents the legitimate Liborio Cuban farmer, wearing a hat, white linen guayabera, red neckerscarf and a machete in his belt. Larousse dictionary picks it up as "generic name of the Cuban man" by extension represents the Cuban people.

"I just picked up a Cuban and devil crab and it was delicious. Crab was so big I couldn't finish it. Staff was friendly and the prices were really good. All this for under $10. I will be back. Thank you!"
